Catholic Polytechnic

The social women’s school in Robert-Schuman-Straße, today the Catholic polytechnic, was built in 1929 and 1930 according to plans by Rudolf Schwarz.
It is a white-plastered steel frame building around a quadrangle. The rooms are lit through finely patterned steel windows of various sizes.
In 1989, architect Romme planned and realised a new library annexe.
