St. Pantaleon

The church of the former Benedictine abbey St. Pantaleon is in the extant cloister district.
The Ottonian hall church with a westwork in the 12th century was extended into a three-nave basilica, which accommodates the graves of Archbishop Bruno (brother of Emperor Otto I) and Empress Theophanu.
Westwork and renovations originate form the Staufer and baroque period.
